한국IDC, 올 1분기 국내 PC 출하량 6% 감소

- 울트라북, 올인원 PC를 위시한 프리미엄 시장 활기로 매출 규모는 소폭 증가 - 정부소비지출 및 설비투자 확대로 커머셜 시장이 전체 시장 견인 - 세계 경기 하강 재연 우려로 2012년 연간 예상 PC 출하량 소폭 하향 조정 Seoul Korea, 7 June 2012 – IT 시장 분석 및 컨설팅 기관인 한국IDC(대표: 홍유숙, www.idckorea.com)의 최근 PC 시장 조사에 따르면, 2012년 1분기 국내 전체 PC 출하량은 193만대로 전년 동기의 206만대 대비 6% 감소한 것으로 집계되었다. 그러나, 신규 폼펙터인 울트라북을 대거 출시, 프리미엄 시장 활성화 노력에 따라 출하량 감소에도 불구하고 매출액은 소폭 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 시장별 출하량을 살펴보면, 가정 116만대, 공공 및 교육 20만대, 기업 57만대로 컨수머 시장이 2011년 하반기부터 지속돼 온 경기하강의 영향을 받으며 11% 감소한 반면, 커머셜 시장은 정부소비지출 확대와 설비투자 증가, 수출 호조세 지속에 따른 신규 취업자 증가 등의 긍정적 영향으로 2% 증가하며 시장의 버팀목 역할을 해 주었다. 한국IDC 김태진 책임 연구원은 "아이비브릿지 출시와 SSD 가격 하락으로 울트라북을 위시한 노트북 구매 수요가 증가할 것으로 보이고, 디아블로3 출시로 인한 가정 및 PC방의 데스크톱 교체 수요가 시장에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대한다"고 말했다. 이어 김 연구원은 "그러나, 최근 다시 수면위로 올라온 유럽재정위기 확대 움직임과 미국, 중국, 독일 등 경제대국의 경기 둔화세가 재차 확인되며 세계 경기 더블딥 가능성이 증대됨에 따라 PC 시장에 부정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 보인다”며, IDC는 2012년 국내 PC 수요를 이전 예측치보다 소폭 하향 조정하여 전년과 비슷한 규모인 670만대로 전망한다고 덧붙였다.
