Rajnish Arora
Director, Asia/Pacific Enterprise Servers & Workstations Research, IDC |
Rajnish Arora currently handles the quarterly market tracker program on servers in the ASEAN region. He has been associated with IDC for close to four years across offices in India, Dubai and Turkey. Prior to handling servers at IDC Asia/Pacific, he handled quarterly tracker and continuous information service programs in the area of PCs, Servers, Workstations, LAN Products and Printers.
Fluent in English and Hindi, Mr. Arora has been widely quoted in a variety of publications and programs, including CNBC, Channel News Asia, CNet, the Business Times, Computerworld, and the Asian Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Arora received his MBA from Lancaster University in the UK, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Roorkee University in India. |

Tim Bailey
Director of Platform Marketing, Intel Asia Pacific |
Tim Bailey is the Director of Platform Marketing for Intel’s Asia Pacific region. He oversees demand creation for Intel Architecture desktop, mobile, and server products and platforms through implementation of system initiatives, marketing programs, and OEM education in 14 countries in Asia Pacific. His strong marketing background enables him to provide both a worldwide perspective of the PC industry and a local knowledge of Asia Pacific market requirements.
Mr. Bailey joined Intel in 1995, and has held several sales and marketing positions in both the United States and Asia Pacific. Most recently, he was Regional Marketing Manager for desktop and mobile platforms for Intel Asia Pacific. Prior to this he was a marketing manager for the Mobile Platforms Group and was responsible for managing the division’s relationships with Intel’s worldwide OEM and ODM customer base. He received an Intel Achievement Award for his role in the development and execution of the Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology launch.
Previously, he was the technical assistant to then Senior Vice President of Microprocessor Products Group Albert Yu and worked to ensure that Dr. Yu’s internal and external activities helped drive Intel’s microprocessor roadmap and further developed Intel’s technology leadership role. Mr. Bailey began his Intel career in Intel’s desktop motherboard operation where he was responsible for business activities with Asia Pacific and Japan.

1988년 KT 입사 이후 1988~1990년에는 TDX-1A 소프트웨어 개량개선 연구를 포함해 TDX-1B, TDX-10 교환 분야에서, 1991~1996년에는 FLC-A/B/C 시스템 개발을 통해 전송 분야에서 연구개발 활동을 하였다. 그리고 1997년부터 운용관리 분야에 몸을 담고 1997~2001년에는 ANSWERS 시스템 기획, 개발 및 적용까지 연구 수행 총괄을, 2002년 NeOSS 시스템 개발 초기 NeOSS-SA 시스템 기획을 하였다. 한편 2002~2003년에 걸쳐 1년 동안 미시간대학교에서 글로벌정보통신정책 과정에 참가하여 선진 정보통신 기술, 정책 및 경영 사례를 파악할 기회를 가졌다. 2004년에는 NeOSS-FM 시스템 개발 및 DB 이행을 총괄하였고 충청권 업무전환을 수행하였다. 2005년 현재 NeOSS 전환총괄 역할을 맡아 NeOSS 성공적인 전국 업무전환을 위해 Enjoy! NeOSS 라는 깃발을 휘날리며 즐겁게 일하고 있다. 감사, 감격이 넘치며 기쁨으로 충만한 삶을 소망하고 있다.

Soonyul Chang is the Analyst of Software research in IDC Korea, being responsible for in-depth research of software areas such as infrastructure management, security, operating system, and so on.
He transferred from the Consulting group in IDC Korea. He was responsible for managing customized consulting requirement from clients on IT service sector. His consulting areas include PC, Peripherals, Commercial Systems & Servers, Storage, Software, IT Services, Telecommunications & Data communications, and Internet. In his role, he coordinated consulting service with IDC regional & worldwide analysts.
Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Chnag was the Director of Consulting in EarlyExit for two years. His role was to identify, develop business strategy and fund the potential technology start-up companies; accelerate them to market; and prepare them for exit, and provide market research to define clients’ potential market and develop their new business model. Prior to joining EarlyExit, Mr. Chang had managed a two-way business gateway between the U.S. and Korea as business-developing director of Korean Software Incubator (KSI), whose main role is to search, assess, develop, and provide facilities to enable small- and medium-sized Korean technology companies to launch their products and services in the U.S. market.
Previously, Mr. Chang worked for the technical consulting area and provided information technology consulting services to small and medium businesses in system integration of hardware, software and computer networking area
He has received a B.A. degree in Management Information System from the San Jose State University in San Jose, California. |
