Rajnish Arora

Rajnish Arora currently handles the quarterly market tracker program on servers in the ASEAN region. He has been associated with IDC for close to four years across offices in India, Dubai and Turkey. Prior to handling servers at IDC Asia/Pacific, he handled quarterly tracker and continuous information service programs in the area of PCs, Servers, Workstations, LAN Products and Printers.
Fluent in English and Hindi, Mr. Arora has been widely quoted in a variety of publications and programs, including CNBC, Channel News Asia, CNet, the Business Times, Computerworld, and the Asian Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Arora received his MBA from Lancaster University in the UK, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Roorkee University in India. |

Brendan Paget
Asia Pacific System x Brand Executive, IBM |
Brendan Paget joined IBM in New Zealand in 1986, as a Systems Engineer working with the original IBM Personal Computer. He worked in the PC Division during the 1980s and early 1990s specializing in the technical aspects of the PC Company's products. In the mid 90's he specialized in the PC Server products, and Introduced the Netfinity brand into New Zealand. In late 1997, Brendan went to the United States on a four year assignment, to the Netfinity / xSeries development organization, as World Wide Product Marketing Manager.
During his four years in Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, USA, Brendan was responsible for the deployment of many Netfinity and xSeries products, including the Netfinity 3000, 3500, 5000, 5600, 7100, and 7600. Also the xSeries 330, 350, 360 and 440. During 2000 and 2001, Brendan led the definition and marketing of the Enterprise X-Architecture based products, including the xSeries 360, and scalable xSeries 440 servers, and had responsibility for managing the groups' efforts to define future product offerings based on customer requirements.
In January 2002, Brendan returned to the IBM Asia / Pacific organisation, as Brand Executive, responsible for the product and brand strategies for System x servers, BladeCenter servers and Professional Workstations in AP. |

Hiroshi Oguro

Hiroshi Oguro has been with Hitachi, Ltd. for about twenty years, and is currently responsible for product planning for all Hitachi server product lines.
Oguro joined Hitachi, Ltd. in April 1988, beginning his career as an engineer for a communication control processor. Since then he has played an important role in hardware development, product planning, and product marketing of Hitachi IA servers as well as UNIX servers. Prior to the current role, he was responsible for product planning of Hitachi blade server, BladeSymphony, as a senior manager.
Oguro has received a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from University of Tokyo in 1988.

Takafumi Sasaki is Director of Infrastructure Solutions, Global Marketing, Product Marketing Group, Fujitsu Limited. He began is career at Fujitsu Limited in March 1986 as a member of the Global Marketing Division engaged in the worldwide marketing of UNIX server system products. Tony Parkinson

Tony Parkinson is vice president and general manager of Industry Standard Servers in Asia Pacific and Japan at HP.
Prior to this, Parkinson was the director for the Industry Standard Servers business in APJ. Previously, he was responsible for strategic sales and marketing for Compaq in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He ensured time to market for Compaq enterprise products and solutions is reduced, increased the visibility of the Compaq brand and accelerated growth in the greater China market.
Parkinson has more than 20 years of technical, business, marketing and management experience in the IT industry, particularly in Asia. This includes serving as director of the Global Marketing Program for Industry Standard Servers. From 1989-1997, Parkinson was responsible for product management and marketing in Compaq Australia.
Born in Australia, Parkinson holds a bachelor¡¯s degree in marketing from the University of Technology in Sydney. |

Jay (Jinyong) Choe is a Senior Research Analyst with the Enterprise Research Group at IDC Korea. Mr. Choe is responsible for tracking and analyzing all aspects of the Korea Enterprise Servers and Workstations market. Prior to joining IDC Korea, he was working for five years as a Marketing Manager at ISIS Korea, specializing in the provision of system solutions and software localization & testing services.
