| BladeSymphony® is Hitachi’s new generation blade server, and has a line-up of two types, the high-end BS1000 model and the compact high-density BS320 model. The high-end model (BS1000 Intel® Itanium®2 Processor based model) has been enhanced with “Virtage”, an optional Hitachi server virtualization feature, while the compact high-density BS320 model is popular with its small footprint, light weight, energy-efficiency, and easy administration. BladeSymphony®’s share in the Japanese market has been growing, especially in the enterprise segment. Hitachi would like to introduce BladeSymphony®’s features and benefits to customers by referring to some cases of existing customers. |

| HPC has undergone a revolution with the advent of commodity compute clusters.
