Jean S. Bozman
Jean S. Bozman

Vice President, Global Enterprise Server Solutions, IDC
Jean Bozman is a well-respected IT professional who has spent many years covering the relational database, and commercial server industries. When Ms. Bozman began her career at IDC in 1996, she focused on Unix operating systems and Unix server hardware platforms as research manager for the Unix program. From 1997 until 1999, she analyzed the worldwide market for server operating systems, including Microsoft Windows NT Server, Unix, Novell NetWare, Linux and others, as research manager for IDC's Server Operating Environments program. In her role as research director, she is analyzing the worldwide midrange server market for IDC's Global Enterprise Server Solutions group.

Prior to joining IDC, Ms. Bozman served nine years in a number of positions at Computerworld, a weekly national newspaper that covers the computer industry and corporate end-users of computer technology. She started Computerworld's Midwest Bureau in Chicago in 1987 and was named the publication's Senior West Coast Editor in 1989.

In addition to her distinguished career at Computerworld, Ms. Bozman has also worked as a news editor for Information Week and as a journalist for Newsday, a Pulitzer-Prize winning daily newspaper in New York.

Ms. Bozman holds a B.S. in earth and space sciences from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a master's degree from Stanford University.

Peter Hedges is the Sales Manager for IBM's xSeries server business in Asia Pacific. In this role he is responsible for driving sales of IBM's xSeries BladeCenter Servers; IBM high performance computing systems; as well as Intel and Linux-based servers for high volume transaction environments.

Peter has been with IBM since 1990 when he launched his IT career as a systems engineer. Since then he has filled various technical and training roles in the company, working directly with customers, as well as with business partners and sales teams.

Peter has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computing from the Queensland University of Technology.

Arun Natarajan is the Product Manager for Industry Standard Servers, Technology Solutions Group, at Hewlett Packard Asia Pacific. He is responsible for product marketing and management of ProLiant Blade servers, Manageability and High Availability solutions in the region.

Prior to this role, Arun was the Product Marketing Manager for Singapore focusing on high-end Intel Xeon based servers positioned into the enterprise space. Through strategic initiatives and programs he was instrumental at growing the high-end server business by 35%.

Arun joined Compaq in 1998 as the Product Marketing Manager in Bangalore, India, where he was responsible for product marketing of Intel-based servers and various Compaq storage and back-up products.

Arun has more than nine years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Compaq, he spent two years at Digital Equipment Corporation in India holding key positions in sales and marketing at the NT Server Business Unit.

Arun graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Bangalore University, India and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Xavier Institute of Management, India.

Chiseki Sagawa has been with Fujitsu Limited for more than twenty years and is currently responsible for developing and promoting strategies for all Fujitsu server product lines worldwide. He is also responsible for key strategic alliances with Microsoft, Intel, and other major SI vendors worldwide.

Mr. Sagawa joined Fujitsu Limited in April 1981, beginning his career as a system engineer for a major banking system. He was promoted to Director of IA Server Software Development of Software Development Group and a project owner for Microsoft alliance worldwide in 2000.
